10 of the coolest Star Wars images ever made
Part V
March 22, 2008

May 25 is Universal Day of the Jedi, and with that date approaching, I decided to continue with another "10 of the coolest Star Wars images" post - continuing where we left off with Part Four.

As with the last lists, there's a variety of pictures that I've selected: awesome compositions, humorous images, and others. Click on the pics for the full sizes. Here we go:

10. With New Clone Tool

Adobe-Wan Kenobi

Ever wondered how some of these images in these Star Wars lists are made? Not with regular old Photoshop, but with Adobe-Wan Kenobi Photoshop. The new clone tool is superb!

9. Star Wars meets Silent Hill

Star Wars meets Silent Hill

I recently stumbled across this particular image and was blown away by the... unusual and bizarre nature of it. Pretty weird, but fans of both Silent Hill and Star Wars seem to dig it. It's something different anyway, and the artwork is top notch.

8. Fail

Fail

Now his failure is complete: As you can see, my young apprentice, your friends have failed. No, YOU'VE failed your highness - I am a whiney biotch, like my father before me.

7. The Jedi Hunter

The Jedi Hunter

The above image is actually an online promo poster for a fan film called The Jedi Hunter. As the title and the image both imply, it's a parody of The Crocodile Hunter in the Star Wars universe. Picture Steve Irwin as Boba Fett, where the bounty hunter finally comes face to face with his father's killer. Be sure to go and watch the flick.

6. Darth iPod

Darth Vader loses his iPod, named Padme Shuffle

While the intention behind this parody advert of Apple's iPod is pure humor and satire, it should be said that this never could possibly happen. Everybody knows that Vader's MP3 player is built into his chest, and his headphones are in the helmet. Besides, everyone knows he's a Linux geek at heart, right?

5. Pimp My Ride

Pimp My Ride - AT-AT - Walker

If Xzibit was in the Star Wars galaxy, you know he would already be on this concept. Have your own Imperial Walker blinged out to the x-treme, you rebel scum! And if you think this looks good, wait until you see the Red Star Destroyer they're working on. Let's take a look at the Holoprojector built into the hind leg, followed by the droid replicas of Figrin Dan playing the best quality jizz music available right in your cockpit. Wow, that sounded wrong...

4. Wrong Place Wrong Time

Unbelievable

Make this a lesson to all of you SCA members and fans of Renaissance Fairs - do not go to Star Wars conventions in medieval garb, or the 501st will go all dark ages on your ass.

3. Into The Pit

Inspection!

Pit Crew work just hasn't been the same in pod racing every since the Empire took over. Now we have Pit Troopers for crying out loud - all of them clones! What is this galaxy coming to?

2. A More Civilized Age

Back in my day, we had to patrol the Death Star - which was uphill both ways!

Modern troopers could learn a thing or too from this fellow. Things ain't what they used to be - not nowadays in the Imperial Remnant. The legions have been watered down with non-clones; standards just ain't the same. And on top of that there's a n... Hey.. HEY! You damn Jawas, get off my lawn!

1. Vader's Femtrooper

Femtrooper

Who doesn't like Femtroopers? These ladies are just so awesome. Pictured above is SithVixen with the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader - and you can see more of her in the Femtrooper outfit (as well as links to her wearing other Star Wars costumes) at the Sith Vixen web site.
