Metal band AGAINST 72, from Lawton, Oklahoma, have released a new song online; and it's available for everyone to download and share - for free. The new song is called Deaf Leading The Blind, and is another example of the brutal strength of the band.
As they serenade their blasphemy
Marching in unison to their end
There's nothing left to do but sit and stare
Suffocating on their stagnant words
Join in the congregation
The tangible hypocrisy
The hymns of dust and dirt
You're preaching to the choir
As they regurgitate their sacred sermons
We place our hands on the big black book
Should we decipher its meaning?
Or wait for it to be translated?
Nobody is questioning what we believe
Why we believe
You can't understand YOU DON'T EVEN TRY
Think for yourself USE YOUR OWN EYES
Laboring under a system we no longer entrust our spirits to
We’re destroying all pretense and discarding the mask of religion
The deaf leading the blind
I'll never follow you
You rise against me
The deaf leading the blind
Your words bleeding venom
Hungry for the spine
We only hold a few ideals sincere
And worthy of faith and belief
Congregate
Hypocrisy
I've considered my words for too long now
Held my tongue kept my response in check
As though I owed someone an explanation
For the way that I think...
