Magick Rogue began his journey of writing at a young age. Fascinated with story telling, he began writing his own narratives at the age of 6, sharing his tales with his peers and family. At the age of 11, he discovered music, and most importantly, lyrics. At first, lyrical concepts did not appeal with as much impact as they later would, but the seeds were set for what would flourish into the expression of emotion.
Five years later, under the encouragement of a mentor, the Rogue first put pen to paper. Penciling a composition called "Lost", about a family member who almost tragically passed away due to an accident and lived in the world of a coma for 7 weeks, the lyrical composition was only the beginning.
Magick Rogue began writing lyrical concepts for bands he was involved with, but was never satisfied with the way they had been expressed at the time. After facing disheartenment after disheartenment, life and the world around him lead the Magick Rogue to his abandonment of writing altogether.
Until 1999, when in a bout of pent up frustration, anger and confusion, he composed a lyrical concept directly to a message board. The reaction from others was encouraging. He took on the identity of Magick Rogue, and continued developing his lyrical journeys.
